Album Description:

They say in your life there will be one dog that outshines all the rest and no matter how hard you look, after said dog is gone, you will never find another that even half-way holds a candle. Nava is THAT dog for me, she is so smart, loving, and well behaved, I am beyond proud of her. I got her in 2001 a few weeks before my 16th birthday, it seems like only yesterday. Out of all her siblings, she was the first one I saw and I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was my first dog, all others were "the family's dog". When I got her I was told that she is a wolfdog, if that is true she is of very low content. Her dam was said to be a mix of husky, shepherd, and wolf; her sire was a purebred border collie.

Now that she is in her twilight years and a few months ago survived the amputation of her right hind leg after a brush with an osteo-sarcoma, I find myself daydreaming about our many adventures. Our time together is waning, and I would like to honor her as much as I possibly can, this album will be the first of many tributes.

I realize that the pictures of her as a puppy are less than standard quality, it was before I had a digital camera. All in this album are free to use as stock, as long as Nava and myself are credited and there is a link back, along with a comment left on the used image's page. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures of my old girl, & maybe some of you can get some use out of them as well.
