Orsino 'Firestrike'

This is my tribute to Orsino, one of my oldest cats. He is at least 10 years old & has been tame for about 2 years. He is a super sweet old man that loves nothing more than to be petted, the only indications that he was ever feral are his many scars & shredded ears. He has a strange habit of attacking his own tail, it seems that the twitching of it annoys him from time to time.

This is the second installment in the series of my cats I am doing for practice & to honor each of them. If you would like to read the "story" of how they came into my life, you can find it here. Mind you, it's not an actual story, just a paragraph or so on each cat.

Being the huge Warrior cats fan that I am, I always try to think up good warrior names as a nickname for my cats. Orsino is my "Firestrike". I know they all (for the most part) have given up their warrior ways to become kitty pets, but they are still MY warriors & I think that every cat deserves a special warrior name.

It still takes me a really long time to create anything, perhaps it's due to me being too much of a perfectionist... Of course Orsino's markings were really hard to portray. That being said, I am very proud of the way this turned out. I feel that I am getting better, but now I feel that I did not do Tiberius justice in my last submitted deviation. Once I am done with the entire series I might make some adjustments to the one I did of him, so that I feel he has been properly honored.
